The lymphatic system is a critical part of our immune system.
When we get sick, the lymphatic system works overtime to increase and deliver infection-fighting cells and remove toxins and waste.
Fluid can get stuck, especially in the sinuses, and cause head pain, pressure, post-nasal drip, ear infections, and throat irritation.

Ways to stimulate your lymphatic system:
Body brushing here is very effective in helping with lymphatic drainage. Here is a video on how to properly do it.
Note: You don't need much pressure; the lymphatic system is right below the skin's surface.
Stimulate your lymphatic system with deep belly breathing.
You can place one hand on your belly and one on your chest
Breathe in through your nose and concentrate on your abdomen, expanding in your lower stomach.
Hold for a beat
Exhale out of your mouth
3-5 breaths at a time 2-3 times a day
You can lay on your back if you prefer or do this sitting down
It's a good destresser as well.
